[2016-10-23] Trinket Workshop at Pumping Station One

I am teaching a Trinket microcontroller programming Workshop at Pumping Station One for the Women’s Electronics Workshop on Sunday, October 23. If you are interested in working with the Trinket, or if you know someone who might be interested in learning about basic electronics and Arduino programming, please consider forwarding the information along.

This workshop will cover basic Arduino programming for controlling an RGB LED using sensor data with the tiny but powerful Trinket microcontroller.

If you are interested in adding light with controlled behavior to a project but have yet to work with Arduino, this workshop will give you a good base from which to expand your knowledge.

The cost is $39 per person for instruction and materials including Trinket and RGB LEDs. All participants must bring a laptop with the free Arduino software installed. Participants are welcome to arrive early for help installing the software if needed.

Participants can bring a guest, provided they RSVP for the guest as well. Children under 18yo can register/attend, provided a parent or legal guardian attends the workshop with them.

The Women’s Electronics Workshop is committed to providing a safe space for electronics enthusiasts who identify as female or genderqueer. This event is open to everyone.
