Mac Pierce and Juan Flores, two media artists, will lead two workshops this Friday (11/15/24) at Chicago Art Department (@chicagoartdept)!

In Workshop I, participants will craft an artifact that serves as a memory that ties motion, text, and image together. With the use of water soluble paper, a laser printer, a small container, a fast drying liquid, and movement, participants record their gestures through the disintegration of printed material.
In Workshop II, participants will make an unobtrusive anti-surveillance wearable. Mac Pierce will discuss some of the ideas around how to best use it by covering more broadly topics of public surveillance and how to disengage from them.
