Teaching Careers for Artists and Designers Panel

SAIC faculty will share experiences, insights, and strategies to guide MFA students and alums with researching, applying for opportunities, and developing successful careers as faculty and artists. Speaker details will be added to Handshake soon.
Teaching Applications Workshop Day
Saturday, October 25, 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

This all-day event offers a series of workshops for graduate students and recent alums who are preparing for careers in higher education. Attendees will have the opportunity to refine their application materials, gain a deeper understanding of the faculty hiring process, and develop strategies for navigating the academic job market. Topics covered will include the academic teaching landscape, anatomy of a faculty job posting, and curriculum vitae and cover letters for teaching positions.
