Prix Ars Electronica Open Call
Entries for the world’s longest-standing media art competition are once again open until Mach 1, 2024. Participation is free of charge.
Winners in the three categories New Animation Art, Interactive Art + and u19-create your world will each receive a Golden Nica and prizes worth up to 10.000 euros. Award-winning projects will also be presented at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz in September.
Another Golden Nica and 10,000 euros in prize money will be given to the winner of the “AI in ART” award, which will be presented for the first time in 2024. The award recognizes unique creative approaches to artificial intelligence that demonstrate the potential of the interplay between human and machine design. Every submission for this year’s Prix Ars Electronica, S+T+ARTS Prize, S+T+ARTS Prize Africa and European Union Prize for Citizen Science will be considered for the AI in ART Award.
We’re looking forward to receiving your submissions!
