I still have openings in my Poetics Systems class and am hoping for a few more students. Please consider if you are intrigued by digital poetry, augmented reality, AI writing machines, bio-poetry, or poetics as a way of thinking about and arranging compositions. It is on Tuesdays, 9-4.
Poetic Systems is a creative laboratory for experiments that foreground poetics as a model for the arrangement and performance of any number of potential forms. We will explore and consider practices including hypertext, code poetry, AI text generation, augmented reality, and bio-poetry as we discover and develop unique interdisciplinary projects. Open to a multiplicity of influences and outputs, text-oriented or otherwise, the course is appropriate to artists with an interest in language, code and systems.
