Dear ATS community,
Just a quick announcement that my new summer class “myThings: an introduction to IoT for artists”, offered through DO (Designed Objects), is now open for enrollment.
As a three week intensive 1.5 credit course it offers both a conceptual overview of the Internet of Things (IoT) through reading and exercises, combined with hands-on work using microcontrollers, electronics, as well as project building, and concludes with a final studio critique and panel review.
Students interested in learning more are welcome to contact me at rdrink@saic.edu and faulty are encouraged to point students to this class.
