ATS MFA Alum Abraham Avnisan has shared a teaching opportunity that may be of interest to others who graduated from the program.

Kent State University’s School of Media and Journalism (MDJ) invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position at the rank of associate or assistant professor with a start date of August 2022.

We are particularly interested in candidates with research/creativity activity and/or professional experience in digital media production, including post-production for film and television, digital video editing, video storytelling and the implications and impact of the emerging media metaverse.

We highly value candidates who will advance MDJ’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through their research/creative activity, teaching, and student-centered engagement.

The College of Fine Arts is seeking an Assistant Professor in Art, Technology, and Culture. The OU School of Visual Arts (University of Oklahoma) invites qualified candidates to apply for a full-time, tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Sculpture, within the area of Art, Technology, & Culture. A secondary emphasis on Sound Art, situated at the intersection of sculpture, installation, and immersive environments, is desirable.

We seek an innovative, interdisciplinary artist and educator to work between the areas of Art, Technology, & Culture, Studio Art in Sculpture, and our Core Curriculum. Art, Technology, & Culture encompasses media arts, including photography, video, animation and emerging technologies. Studio Art courses in Sculpture include traditional media and practices, installation, and digital fabrication. Our Core Curriculum provides entry-level courses to all School of Visual Arts students including Core Studio II: Space and Time and Core Studio III: Technology.
