[We Don’t Know Yet] What a Cinema Can Do is a special event of the ONION CITY EXPERIMENTAL FILM FESTIVAL organized and curated by CCAM: The Center for Concrete and Abstract Machines..

Some of our own faculty and staff are in the mix of a night of expanded cinema at public works gallery @publicworksgallery in Wicker Park.

We received over 60 submissions for this show. Their strengths made it no doubt tough selecting our final lineup. The committee believes these seven artists both renew the 1970s call for what expanded cinema could be and reinvest in the genre in a modern context.
